- Spoil them healthily
- Take time with them
- Be understanding
- Be stern but loving. Forgive quickly but do not ignore bad manners; teach through love

Step 9:
Love your animals. Be a good caretaker. Be careful in letting them understand good. Animals have instinct and though you can teach them to behave in a certain manner, you cannot change their moral views.
